Emotional support
Several of our dogs have gone on to become emotional support dogs!
What is an emotional support dog?
An emotional support dog (ESD) is a companion animal that provides comfort and emotional stability to individuals with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other emotional challenges. Unlike service dogs, emotional support dogs do not require specialized training to perform specific tasks, but their presence alone offers therapeutic benefits to their owner.
ESDs are protected under laws like the Fair Housing Act (FHA), which allows them to live in no-pet housing without extra fees, as long as the owner has a letter from a licensed mental health professional. However, they do not have public access rights like service dogs, meaning they cannot enter most businesses or accompany their owner on flights under the Air Carrier Access Act.
Why our dogs make great emotional support companions
1. Temperament
Our pups are praised for their wonderful temperament.
2. Size
Our dogs come in Mini and petite mini sizes.
3. Energy Level
Some dogs are high-energy, so if you need a more relaxed dog, look for one with a laid-back personality. We know our dogs, and we can help you find the perfect fit!
4. Socialization
Our Puppies have been properly socialized to different environments, sounds, and people.

4. Anyone Who Finds Comfort in a Dog’s Presence
Even without a diagnosed condition, many people feel calmer, happier, and less stressed with a dog by their side. Emotional support dogs can provide unconditional love and motivation to maintain a routine, exercise, and socialize.
If you are in therapy, you can discuss with your therapist the possibility of writing a recommendation letter for you to qualify for an emotional support dog.
